MOSAIC/Gear Up is a federal program that assists students in their post secondary plans through high school. Our Gear Up program at WHS (Wenatchee High School) has partnered with CWU (Central Washington University) and a non-profit organization called Northwest Learning and Achievement Group. There are two grants that work, the Gear Up program - MOSAIC and Soar. MOSAIC and SOAR use their funds to support the robotics program. A big portion of the grand is STEM focused Robotics covers all components of STEM specific grand goal = competing in STEM clubs and competitions.  One of our goals has been to develop a student club that focuses on STEM, so that is how our robotics club came about.
